Aprilia recently started bookings of its SXR125 in India. SXR125 is the smaller sibling of the SXR160 that was introduced last year. And ahead of an official announcement, the price of the lesser sibling has been revealed through the official website.
Aprilia SXR125 Price
The 125 SXR has been priced at Rs 1,16,358 ex-showroom Delhi. This means that it is about Rs 11,000 cheaper than the SXR160. However, it is costlier than all other scooters in the range, including the 160cc models – it costs Rs 10,000 more than the SR160, Rs 22,000 over SR125 and whopping Rs 27,000 dearer than the Aprilia Storm 125.
The price for the SXR125 mentioned above is for all the four colors – Blue, White, Black and Red. It is powered by a 124.45 cc, 3-valve, SOHC engine that belts out 9.52 PS of peak power at 7600 rpm and 9.2 Nm of max torque at 6250 rpm.

It only has one competitor – Burgman Street, however, it is almost Rs 34,000 costlier than the Suzuki. Frankly, the scooter doesn’t justify its hefty price tag but we must give it to Aprilia for trying out something new for our market. India does not have a lot of maxi-scooters and it brings in many new features in the scooter market.
