Aprilia Opens Bookings for RSV4 Factory Superbike in India

Here is a piece of news from the premium segment of biking industry. Aprilia, one of the most respected cult bike makers, opens bookings for their new bike RSV4 factory Superbike in India. The company has decided to open bookings and let people book themselves RSV4 that was expected by consumers for sometime now.

The Italian bike maker, owned by Piaggio, announced a couple of weeks later that their bike will soon be seen on Indian roads and thus the company has decided to open the bike for bookings. As far as the price of the bike is concerned, RSV4 comes with a whooping price tag of Rs.20Lakhs.

The RSV4 is powered by a 999.60 cc, V4 four-stroke engine producing 180PS of peak power at 12500 rpm and peak torque of 115.00 Nm at 10000 rpm. As reported by us earlier, Piaggio also plans to introduce the Vespa range of scooters in India by 2012, starting with the LX125.
