Among Indian manufacturers, TVS, along with Hero are at the forefront of this Bharat Stage VI transition. While Hero was the first one to launch a BS6 motorcycle (Splendor iSmart), TVS became the leader in the 200cc space with its Apache 200. TVS has also introduced the BS6 version of its Jupiter and Apache 160 4V.
In a latest update, TVS has informed that it has commenced production and dispatch of all these products which were officially launched in November 2019.
Apache 160 4V BS6
Launched at a starting price tag of Rs 99,950 ex-showroom Delhi, the newer-gen Apache 160 4V gets fuel injection for compliance and a minor drop in both power and torque figures. In terms of features, it now comes with a new headlamp design, LED headlamps and claw-like pilot lamps, dual tone seat, feather touch start, wave bite ignition key and new mirrors.
Apache 200 BS6
The more exciting Apache 200 is now priced at Rs 1.24 Lakh ex-showroom and comes equipped with similar features of the new Apache 160. In addition, it also comes equipped with a very useful multi-information instrument cluster called as SmartXonnect, which can be paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth. The bigger Apache 200 is also equipped with dual channel ABS with RLP (rear lift-off protection).
Both the Apaches get this new, interesting feature called as Glide Through Traffic (GTT) which helps you ride through bumper to bumper traffic without using the clutch or throttle.

Jupiter BS6
TVS has officially updated its Jupiter with a BS6 compliant engine and it has chosen the ‘Classic’ version to spearhead the transition. The new Jupiter Classic gets fuel injection and TVS claims the new scooter comes with enhanced performance and fuel efficiency.
It gets a price hike of Rs 8000 and is offered in new colour shades.
