If snazzy colours on the new faired Pulsar 400SS did not excite you, here is one pic which should, particularly if you love black, as we do!
In a new spyshot of, what appears to be production ready Pulsar 200SS, the bike reveals its muscular body proportions and frankly we believe, this single colour enhances and puffs up the looks (at least the feel of it). This pic is shared by our reader Ashok Balaji.
It appears that this spy pic has been shot at some stockyard, possibly somewhere inside Bajaj’s Chakan and we can see brand new unsold bikes parked around this Pulsar 200SS.
If your question is why is this Pulsar 200SS and why not Pulsar 400SS, then let us tell you that it is purely our belief because of the info we have that Pulsar 200SS will be launched first (and hence should become production-ready first as well).
It has got almost everything ready including the number plates, mandatory saree guards etc but there are no decals and the company badging anywhere on the body.

Nonetheless, the bike looks significantly different from Pulsar 200NS and has a wider footprint. The projectors and eyebrow pilot lamps lend that real aggressive face and the seats appear to be fairly wide (at least the rider’s is). The clip-ons appear to be high-set and will lend a more upright seating posture (than KTMs RC siblings), as we have seen in earlier spyshots.
And after Pulsar 220’s absolutely worthless RVMs (rear view mirrors), we see long chalks on this mule which should translate into something meaningful. At first, it appeared to be finished in matte but upon a clear glance, it ain’t!
As we have shared earlier, Bajaj should launch their Pulsar 200SS within a couple of months from now.
