Royal Enfield Flying Flea Enters Chennai With 14 Sales And Service Touchpoints

Chennai becomes the fourth Indian market for Royal Enfield’s electric mobility brand after Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune

Royal Enfield’s electric mobility brand, Flying Flea, has expanded its Indian footprint to Chennai. The company has established 14 customer touchpoints across the city, making it the fourth market in the country to get the brand after Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune.

The Chennai network comprises two company-operated stores in OMR and Adyar, along with 12 additional outlets. These will be supported by 11 service centres with dedicated technical teams for routine maintenance and after-sales support. Every Flying Flea C6 will also come with 24×7 roadside assistance.

The expansion is an important step for Royal Enfield as it builds a dedicated retail and service network around its first electric motorcycle. Rather than relying entirely on standalone outlets, Flying Flea is also using existing Royal Enfield dealership infrastructure to reach more customers.

The FF.C6 is currently the only production motorcycle from the brand. It is priced at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option brings the initial price down to Rs 1.99 lakh. Under this arrangement, the battery is offered separately through a subscription model.

The electric motorcycle uses a 3.91 kWh battery pack paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 15.4 kW and 60 Nm. Royal Enfield claims an IDC range of 154km and a top speed of 115 kmph. It weighs 124 kg and gets an onboard charger that allows it to be charged using a standard 16A household socket.

The C6 also gets a distinctive neo-retro design, with a forged aluminium exoskeleton frame, magnesium alloy battery casing and girder-link front suspension. Equipment includes a 3.5-inch touchscreen TFT display, five riding modes, lean-angle-sensitive ABS, traction control, cruise control and wireless phone charging. It is available in Storm Black, Flea Green and Parachute White.

Flying Flea is also preparing to expand its range with the S6 scrambler, which was unveiled at EICMA 2026. Based on the C6’s lightweight construction and chassis, the S6 gets an enduro-style seat, a more rugged setup and a dedicated off-road riding mode. It is scheduled to go on sale in summer 2027.
