New KTM 200 Duke Launch Price Rs 2.07 Lakh, New Colors and Features

The latest version of the street naked bike gets Ride-by-Wire throttle, bi-directional Quickshifter, Traction Control and Ride Modes as standard

KTM India has launched the new 200 Duke at a price point of Rs 2.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the country. The street naked motorcycle is offered with a couple of new paint shades, multiple advanced features and upgraded hardware while being around Rs 1,552 more expensive than the outgoing model. The new KTM 200 Duke retains the same engine which delivers top power of 24.7 bhp while coming with a class-leading power-to-weight ratio in the 200cc street-naked segment. Recently, it was spotted at a company dealership undisguised and now it has finally gone on sale.

First things first, the new KTM 200 Duke comes equipped with an array of upmarket features in the form of Ride-by-Wire throttle, bi-directional Quickshifter, Traction Control and Ride Modes as standard. All these bells and whistles were previously associated with KTM’s larger-capacity motorcycles as part of the brand’s race-inspired electronic technology.

The ride-by-wire tech ensures electronic throttle control which brings in two rides modes namely Street and Rain. The riders can adjust power delivery as per the riding conditions while traction control helps in managing the rear-wheel traction. The bi-directional Quickshifter is useful during clutchless upshifting and downshifting of gears.

The updated TFT display allows riders to manage Traction Control, Ride Modes and the Quickshifter through the instrument interface. A special mention goes to the Crawl Assist feature which is particularly useful in city traffic to reduce rider fatigue in stop-and-go conditions. KTM has also updated the street naked with premium hardware in the form of 43 mm WP-sourced USD front forks.

As for colours, the new KTM 200 Duke gets two new colour schemes namely Liquid Carbon and Slate Grey. Particularly, the Liquid Carbon paint shade brings an all-black finish to the model for the first time. The introduction of a wider 150-section rear tyre and a 320 mm front brake rotor sum up the hardware updates in the latest iteration of the street naked bike.

Over the years, it has continued to evolve, setting benchmarks in the category. With this latest upgrade, we are bringing advanced technology inspired by KTM’s racing DNA, previously associated with our larger-capacity motorcycles, to the 200 Duke. It reflects our commitment to making performance, precision and control central to the riding experience, while staying true to the READY TO RACE spirit that defines KTM.”
