500 Ather Konarc Electric Scooters Delivered in Single Day in Delhi

Ather Energy has delivered 500 units of the recently launched Konarc electric scooter in a single day in Delhi. The handover ceremony witnessed customers along with their families and friends take delivery of the brand’s most affordable e-scooter till date in the Indian market. The company presently has 17 experience centres and 209 fast charging points in Delhi-NCR. Needless to mention, Delhi is among the key markets for Ather Energy in North India, where demand for electric scooters has been growing steadily.

Ather Konarc rides on 14-inch front and 12-inch rear alloy wheels while featuring long-travel suspension at both ends. It is also Ather’s first electric scooter to feature metal panels on the rear side and a steel unibody chassis. Having a wheelbase of 1,352 mm, it is offered with sequential gear-drive transmission for near-silent power delivery.

Ather Konarc was introduced in S and Z series with a total of six variants. Ather Konarc S is available with three battery pack options of 2.1 kWh, 2.7 kWh and 3.5 kWh while returning IDC range of 100 km, 125 km, and 161 km, respectively. There is also be a range-topping variant with 200 km IDC range but its details and pricing has not been announced yet.

However, the Konarc S 2.1 kWh, Konarc S 2.7 kWh and Konarc S 3.5 kWh have been priced at Rs 99,999, Rs 1.22 lakh, and Rs 1.45 lakh, respectively. All the prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru. Initially, Konarc S 125 km and Konarc S 161 km variants are available for bookings as deliveries have already begun across key regions. The Konarc S 100 km variant will be delivered to the buyers from Q1 2027. However, it has now been pushed to Q4 2027 due to production related constraints.

Last but not the least, the range-topping Konarc S 200 km variant will be available to buyers from Q3 2027. Coming to the Konarc Z, it will only be available in two variants with 2.7 kWh and 3.5 kWh battery options with range of 125 km and 161 km, respectively, in the Indian market. The company has not announced the prices of both these variants yet. However, it has stated that Konarc Z 125 km and Konarc Z 161 km variants will be available in the market from Q2 2027 onwards.

Built on Ather’s new EL platform and based on the EL01 concept, it has a service interval of 10,000 km, which translates to approximately once a year. All the Konarc variants are equipped with Ather’s fifth-generation Bedrock battery, backed by a new 10-year/1 lakh km,whichever is earlier. The brand claims that a minimum 70 percent of battery health is guaranteed at the end of the warranty coverage period.
