Bajaj Auto has finally launched the new-gen Pulsar 125 and new-gen Pulsar 150 at starting prices of Rs 92,900 and Rs 1.15 lakh, respectively, in the Indian market. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi. Since both motorcycles in the Pulsar Classic range have undergone a generational change, they sit on a new frame while equipped with latest features, modern suspension setup and more powerful engines. The company stated that over 20 million Pulsar motorcycles have been sold across 40+ countries.
New-Gen Bajaj Pulsar 125 Launched in India
The entry-level motorcycle in the Pulsar Classic line-up has been introduced in four variants namely 125, 125 STD Single Seat, 125 STD Split Seat and 125 Premium Split Seat. It has been priced between Rs 92,990-1,04,318 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Sitting on a new diamond-type frame, the new-gen Pulsar 125 is rolled out with a new monoshock rear suspension which replaces the dual-shock unit from the previous model.
The brand stated that the power to weight ratio has improved due to the new 124.58cc single-cylinder engine which delivers top power of 11.8 bhp at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 11 Nm at 6000 rpm. The new-gen Pulsar 125 has become the most powerful motorcycle in the 125cc segment. The engine is linked to a new transmission with improved tractive effort in lower gears.
The new-gen model flaunts an all-new LED ‘Wolf-Eye’ headlamp while equipped with TFT instrument cluster, Google Maps mirroring and Connected tech. The riders can also store vehicle RC, insurance and other important documents on the TFT console. In addition, Bajaj has also offered segment-first ride modes (Road, Rain and Sport), Live call and message alerts, and music controls functions with the bike.
New-Gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 Launched in India
The new-gen Pulsar 150 comes in three trims namely SD Single Seat LCD, TD Single Seat TFT, and TD Split Seat TFT. Priced between Rs 1.15-1.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it comes with a new 149.5cc single-cylinder petrol engine which pumps out 13.8 bhp at 8500 rpm and highest torque of 13.7 Nm at 6500 rpm. It gets the same 5-inch TFT console with Google Maps mirroring as the 125cc model.
Some of the notable features onboard the new-gen Pulsar 150 are all-LED lighting, ISG automatic start-stop system, Ride modes (Road, Rain and Sport), Type-C USB charging port, Belly pan, Hazard lamps and Crawl Tech.
