2027 Honda CB300F Twister Flex-Fuel Launched, E85 Fuel Compliant

The Brazil-spec Honda CB300F Twister E85 is capable of running on pure petrol as well as ethanol-blended fuel

The 2027 Honda CB300F Twister flex fuel has been launched in Brazil with multiple cosmetic updates and modern features. Priced at BRL 26,880 (approx Rs 4.93 lakh), it retains the same 293.5cc single-cylinder engine which is capable of running on petrol as well as ethanol. The CB300F Twister flex fuel is presently available in a few Latin American countries. As far as India is concerned, it was on sale till May 2026 with an E85 fuel compatible engine as later on, the company delisted it from the official website and discontined the sales.

First things first, the Brazil-spec CB300F Twister flex fuel is rolled out with a new fuel tank with sharper extensions. It lends the motorcycle a muscular appearance. However, the basic silhouette has been carried over from the outgoing model. The bike continues with the LED unit in the headlamp, albeit with a restyled assembly for a fresh look.

The 2027 Honda CB300F Twister is available in two variants namely ABS and S. While the former is offered in Red and Black colour schemes, the latter flaunts a multi-tone paint shade with Blue as the body colour. In addition, the S variant also boasts of sporty graphics on the fuel tank and side panels alongside a detachable rear seat cowl.

Some of the notable features onboard the 2027 CB300F Twister are USD front forks, front and rear disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), all-LED lighting, Type-C charging port and digital LCD instrument cluster. The Japanese automaker has also introduced HISS (Honda Ignition Security System) which works as an engine immobiliser with a coded key to block unauthorised ignition.

At the heart, the motorcycle houses a 293.5cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine which generates max power of 24.5 bhp on petrol and 24.7 bhp on ethanol. Similarly, the torque figures are higher with ethanol at 26.2 Nm as compared to petrol at 25.6 Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission and slipper clutch. Apart from India, Brazil is one of the largest markets for ethanol blended petrol.

Honda CB300F was launched in the Indian market nearly four years back in 2022. However, within four years of launch, it was phased out due to insipid response and lower sales volumes. The possibility of the 2027 Honda CB300F Twister flex fuel making a comeback in India cannot be entirely ruled out as it could be the brand’s sole offering in the 250-300cc naked motorcycle segment.
