The Access and Burgman scooters accounted for more than 95 percent of the brand’s overall sales in June 2026
Suzuki Motorcycle India continued as the country’s fifth biggest two-wheeler brand in June 2026 with retail volumes of 91,264 units in the domestic market. It posted a strong YoY growth of 23 percent as 73,934 units were dispatched during the same month last year. However, the MoM numbers declined by 17 percent as the May 2026 sales surpassed 1.10 lakh units. The Access was the best-selling Suzuki model last month while the Burgman showed healthy YoY growth.
First things first, Suzuki Access recorded sales of 63,121 units in June 2026 which is more than two-third of the brand’s overall volumes. It registered a double-digit YoY growth of 22 percent as 51,555 units were retailed in June 2025. However, identical to most company models, the MoM volumes went down by 17 percent.
Suzuki e-Access, the brand’s only electric scooter in India, witnessed a gradual growth in MoM dispatches as 611 units were sold in June 2026 as compared to 518 units in May 2026. Priced at Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the e-scooter is one of the costliest
models in the segment which has the heavyweights from TVS, Bajaj and Ather.

Suzuki Burgman was the fastest-growing model (43 percent YoY) in the Japanese company’s portfolio in June 2026 with sales of 22,454 units against 15,733 units in June 2025. The latest iteration of the scooter was launched a couple of months back in our country with latest features and new colour schemes at a starting price of Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Avenis too couldn’t make much impact as it posted YoY de-growth of 27 percent. The sales decreased from 5,111 units in June 2025 to 3,740 units in June 2026. The Gixxer 150 models were also unable to find buyers as sales lessened from 1,117 units in June 2025 to just 726 units in June 2026 with a YoY decline of 35 percent.
Suzuki could only retail 40 units of the Gixxer 250 last month while V-Strom 800DE and Hayabusa volumes stood at 6 units and 23 units, respectively. The only saving grace was the V-Strom SX which witnessed a spike in dispatches from 309 units in June 2025 to
543 units in June 2026.
