The adventure bike segment will witness the arrival of three new twin-cylinder models in the coming months in the Indian market
The adventure bike segment is getting immense popularity in the Indian market from the last few years. Predominantly, the middleweight ADV motorcycle segment has been enjoying a massive fan base in India as several leading global brands such as KTM, Kawasaki, and Royal Enfield offer their products in it. Now, in the coming months, it will expand further with the arrival of multiple new motorcycles and what makes them even more tempting and desirable is the fact that they will come equipped with a twin-cylinder engine. Hence, in this piece, we will talk in detail about the upcoming twin-cylinder adventure bikes in 2026-27 in India.
1. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
It will not be an understatement to term the Himalayan 750 as the biggest motorcycle launch of 2026 in the Indian market. Confirmed to debut at the EICMA 2026 in November by Royal Enfield CEO, B Govindarajan, it will be powered by a twin-cylinder engine. Recently, it was spied up close on a highway in Tamil Nadu with the rider standing on the bike and performing “saddling” which is quite common within the motorcycling community during long distance journeys.

The company had showcased the Himalayan 750 in concept form at the EICMA 2025. The Himalayan 750 will also be rolled out with adjustable suspension setup as USD front forks and monoshock rear absorbers. A few other notable styling elements expected onboard the adventure bike could be 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, rear luggage rack, round LED headlamp, knuckle guards, upswept exhaust and front windscreen.
2. Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr
Likely to go on sale in Q3 (Jul-Sep) 2026 in the Indian market, it will be sold as Completely Built Unit (CBU) at a price of around Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom). The adventure tourer was earlier supposed to go on sale in Dec 2025 at the India Bike Week (IBW). The feature list includes switchable dual-channel ABS, USB charging port, switchable traction control, all-LED lighting and 7-inch coloured digital console with TFT screen.

At the heart, Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr packs a 486cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates max power of 47 bhp and peak torque of 43 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission. The ADV motorcycle has a saddle height of 839 mm. Riding on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels which are shod with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres, it boasts of USD front forks and monoshock rear suspension.
3. Norton Atlas
Norton Atlas will be initially sold via TVS showrooms in India from the Q3 2026. The ADV bike was recently spotted during its test runs on the Indian roads. It will be made in India at a dedicated assembly line in TVS Motor Company’s Hosur factory in Tamil Nadu. Apart from the standard off-road version, a road-biased GT variant of the Atlas ADV bike will also be introduced with cast alloy wheels.

Norton Atlas will be powered by a 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine which is expected to develop top power of around 70 bhp. The engine will come paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slip & assist clutch while a bi-directional quickshifter could also be offered as an option. The standard version will ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. The Atlas price could start at Rs 6 lakh while going up to Rs 6.70 lakh for the range-topping variants.
