The company delivered a solid performance in June 2026 with a YoY growth of 50 percent as R15 registered a triple digit YoY growth
Yamaha Motor India reported a strong YoY growth of 50 percent in the domestic market as retail volumes soared from 44,417 units in June 2025 to 66,573 units in June 2026. However, the MoM dispatched were down by 9 percent as 72,821 units were sold in May 2026. The RayZR spearheaded this growth saga as the highest-selling Yamaha model in India while the R15 range of motorcycles posted a staggering triple-digit YoY growth in June 2026.
Yamaha sold 22,782 units of the RayZR scooter in June 2026 against 14,274 units during the same month last year with a YoY growth of 60 percent. The MoM sales grew by 6 percent as 21,403 units were sold in May 2026, indicating a strong momentum. The scooter is available in two variants namely Drum and Disc at price points of Rs 77,730 and Rs 85,530, respectively.
The MT-15 was the second top-selling Yamaha model in June 2026 with 10,094 units being retailed as compared to 7,123 units in June 2025 with a YoY growth of 42 percent. It carried over the strong sales momentum from May 2026 (9,579 units) with a MoM growth of 5 percent. The FZ series witnessed a YoY drop of 9 percent as volumes came down from 10,767 units in June 2026 to 9,824 units in June 2025.

The R15 range posted an incredible YoY growth of 111 percent as 9,261 units were sold last month against 4,380 units in June 2025. Though the MoM numbers declined by 6 percent as 9,803 motorcycles were sold in May 2026. The Fascino scooter also recorded positive YoY growth of 44 percent as sales increased from 6,125 units in June 2025 to 8,790 units in June 2026.
The recently launched XSR155 posted sales of 4,199 units in June 2026. The sales of the bike dropped by 36 percent on a MoM basis as 6,587 units were retailed in May 2026. The Aerox 155 maxi-scooter also reported a 17 percent YoY decline last month as volumes were reduced from 1,743 units in June 2025 to 1,455 units in June 2026. The MoM numbers were also down by 30 percent.
Yamaha’s first electric scooter in India, the EC 06, registered sales of merely 168 units in June 2026. However, the MoM sales rose by 100 percent as only 84 units were dispatched in May 2026. Yamaha R3 has already been discontinued from the Indian market and hence, it found zero takers last month as compared to 5 units sold in June 2025 in our country.
