Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario Breaks Cover – 247 HP, 500 Units

The Superleggera V4 Centenario has been projected as Ducati’s most extreme and advanced road-legal motorcycle till date

Ducati has unveiled the Superleggera V4 Centenario at COTA’s Turn 11 car condos in Austin, Texas. Termed as the Italian brand’s most extreme and advanced road-legal motorcycle, it will be limited to 500 units. Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario, rolled out to celebrate the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer’s 100th anniversary, is the world’s first street-legal motorcycle to come with carbon-ceramic disc brakes. It is also the first road bike to come equipped with the pressurised Öhlins NPX 25/30 Carbon suspension with carbon fibre sleeves.

Tipping the weighing scale at 173 kg, the Superleggera V4 Centenario boasts of a carbon-fibre frame, swingarm and bodywork. The overall weight comes down to 167 kg when the limited-edition model is fitted with with the racing kit supplied as standard. It has been presented in the new Rosso Centenario colour, which has inspired the official 2026 MotoGP and SBK liveries.

Powered by the 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, it has peak power output of 228 hp, which further increases to a staggering 247 hp with the Akrapovič racing exhaust and Ducati Corse Performance oil. Developed specifically for this limited-edition model, the engine is 3.6 kg lighter than the 1,103 cc unit of the Panigale V4 with dry clutch. The engine is paired to the Ducati Racing Gearbox, with neutral positioned under first gear instead of between first and second.

Thw winglets and Corner Sidepods of the Superleggera V4 Centenario are inspired by the Panigale V4 R Superbike. The entire fairing is made of carbon fibre, left partially exposed to highlight the purity of the material. In addition, several other elements such as mudguards, tank cover, rad-duct, sprocket cover, heel guards, steering splash guards, seat base, intake duct, licence plate holder and rear bank cover are made of carbon fibre to ensure weight reduction.

The feature list is shared with the Panigale V4 R with advanced electronic aids in the form of Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Wheelie Control (DWC), Slide Control (DSC), Ducati Power Launch (DPL), four-level cornering ABS, Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0, Engine Brake Control (EBC) and Dynamic Engine Brake (DEB). Ducati has offered the Neoprene racing seat as standard.

Since it is a limited edition model, each unit of the Superleggera V4 Centenario will be delivered in an exclusive, customised wooden case to the customers. In addition, Ducati will also give a certificate of authenticity, stored in a special box, a dedicated motorcycle cover, as well as a mat and front and rear paddock stands with the superbike.
