Using a monocoque frame, the DesertX V2 borrows the twin-cylinder engine from the new Monster V2. The DesertX V2 is not anticipated to launch in the Indian market anytime soon as it has not been listed in the brand’s calendar of confirmed launches this year in India. The adventure bike comes with class-leading service intervals of 15,000 km or two years.

Ducati states that the airbox has been repositioned in the all-new DesertX V2 to offer better access to the air filter. It can be easily removed and cleaned after every off-road ride. The adventure motorcycle gets a rear trellis frame and aluminium swingarm as standard. The stopping power comes from Brembo-sourced 305 mm front and rear disc brakes with M4.32 monobloc calipers.
