Greaves Electric Mobility has launched the Ampere Magnus G Max at a sticker price of Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom, India) in the Indian market. Built on a dual frame chassis, it comes with a hub-mounted electric motor. Ampere Magnus G Max will rival other sub Rs 1 lakh electric scooters in the domestic market such as Bajaj Chetak C25, TVS Orbiter, VLF Tennis and Vida VX2. The e-scooter gets a standard battery warranty of 5 years/75000 km. Ampere is the sixth leading electric two-wheeler brand in India.
The Magnus G Max is available in a single-tone colour namely Monsoon Blue while the buyers can also opt for a dual-tone paint shade in the form of Matcha Green and Cinnamon Copper. It boasts of 33-litre underseat storage capacity. The suspension duties are performed by hydraulic telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers as standard.

Some of the notable features onboard the Ampere Magnus G Max are Ride modes (Eco & City), Reverse mode, 3.5-inch LCD digital cluster, USB charging port, and LED headlamp and indicators with optional connected features via TCU. The electrc scooter has a top speed of 65 kmph while it takes nearly 4.5 hours from 20 percent to 80 percent charging.
Powered by a 3 kWh LFP battery pack, Magnus G Max has a certified range of 142+ km while it returns around 100+ km in real-world conditions. The hub-mounted electric motor delivers nominal power output of 2 bhp and peak power of 3.2 bhp. The e-scooter has a ground clearance of 165 mm. Ampere has set eight India Book of Records titles with its Magnus range of electric scooters.
