Bajaj Chetak C25 Price Slashed by Rs 4,299

Bajaj has rolled out an early bird offer of Rs 4,299 off for the first 10,000 customers of the recently launched Chetak C25 in the country.

Bajaj Auto has slashed the price of the recently launched Chetak C25 by Rs 4,299 for the first 10,000 customers in the Indian market. This brings down the effective ex-showroom (Delhi) price of the electric scooter from Rs 91,399 to Rs 87,100 in the domestic market. Bajaj Chetak C25 sales have begun from today which includes deliveries and showroom roll-out across major cities in India. This early bird offer of Rs 4,299 has been rolled out to mark the positive customer response and make it even more accessible to the buyers, claimed Bajaj.

The Chetak C25 is Bajaj’s most affordable mass-market electric scooter till date in the Indian market. It is positioned below the Chetak 3001 in the brand’s portfolio which is priced at Rs 99,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Offered in Chetak’s signature metal body, the C25 e-scooter gets a neo-classic design with DRL headlamp upfront as standard feature.

Bajaj Chetak C25 is available in six colour options namely Active Black, Racing red, Classic White, Ocean Teal (Matte), Opalescent Silver and Misty Yellow. Some of the notable features onboard the electric scooter are Ride modes (Eco & Sport), Reverse mode, Hill hold, Guide me home lights, 25L underseat storage capacity, and Type-C USB charging port. It misses out on Self Cancelling Blinkers, Auto Hazard Light and Sequential Rear Blinkers.

The Chetak C25 is packed with front disc and rear drum brakes as standard fitment. It houses a coloured LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity to access navigation, play music and accept/reject calls. The e-scooter has the lowest turning radius of 1825 mm in its segment. The Chetak C25 is retailed with a standard warranty of 3 years / 50,000 km, which can be further extended to 5 years / 70,000 km by paying Rs 5,990 during the purchase.

Tipping the weighing scale at 108 kg, it has a saddle height of 763 mm. The Chetak C25 comes equipped with an IP67 rated 2.5 kWh battery pack which delivers a range of 113 km on a full charge. The hub-mounted electric motor ensures a top speed of 55 kmph. Bajaj is providing a 750W offboard charger with the electric scooter which takes nearly 2.25 hours for 0-80 percent charge. For a 0-100 percent charge, it takes around 3.45 hours.

Bajaj Chetak C25 can be locked/unlocked through a mechanical key. There is no digital key available even as an option. It directly rivals Hero Vida VX2 and TVS Orbiter in the Indian market. The e-scooter is locally developed with a ground clearance of 170 mm, keeping in mind the condition of Indian roads.
