Both the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S and 2026 Kawasaki Z650RS are rolled out in a new colour scheme with an E20 fuel compliant engine
Kawasaki India has launched the 2026 Vulcan S and Z650RS in the country. Both the bikes remain identical to the preceding model in terms of design, features and engine specs. The 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S is priced at Rs 8.13 lakh, which is nearly Rs 54,000 higher than the outgoing model. On the other hand, the 2026 Kawasaki Z650RS comes at a price tag of Rs 7.83 lakh which is around Rs 14,000 higher than the previous version. The prices mentioned before are ex-showroom. Both the motorcycles are now E20 fuel compliant and gain a new colour scheme.
2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S
It is introduced in a new Metallic Flat Spark Black colour which replaces the existing Pearl Matte Sage Green shade. The rest of the bike remains unchanged with the same cycle parts and engine. The suspension duties are helmed by telescopic front forks and monoshock rear suspension with pre-load adjustment. The stopping power comes from disc brakes at both the ends.
The 2026 Vulcan S has a saddle height of 705 mm while it tips the weighing scale at 235 kg, which is approx 6 kg more than the previous model. A dual-channel ABS is offered as standard safety equipment. The ground clearance though is quite less at 130 mm. The cruiser rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. It boasts an adjustable clutch, brake levers and footpegs.

At the heart, the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S houses the same 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine which develops top power of 60.2 bhp at 7500 rpm and highest torque of 61 Nm at 6600 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The torque delivery has dropped by 1.4 Nm as compared to the previous version.
2026 Kawasaki Z650RS
Similar to the 2026 Vulcan S, it also comes in a new colourway namely Metallic Ocean Blue which replaces the earlier Ebony paint shade. The rest of the motorcycle remains untouched with all the styling elements, cycle parts and features retained. Recently, Kawasaki had also launched the 2026 version of the Ninja 650 and Versys 650 in the Indian market.

The 2026 Z650RS is powered by the same 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine which generates max power of 67 bhp at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 62.1 Nm at 6700 rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed transmission. The torque output has come down by 1.9 Nm as compared to the outgoing model. The bike continues to ride on 17-inch wheels at both the ends.
