The all-new Ducati XDiavel V4 can be termed as a ‘Supersports Cruiser’ version of the legendary Diavel V4
Ducati India has launched the all-new XDiavel V4 in the country. It has been introduced in two exclusive metallic colour schemes namely Burning Red and Black Lava at price points of Rs 30.89 lakh and Rs 31.20 lakh, respectively. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, India. Presented as the ‘Sport Cruiser’, the all-new Ducati XDiavel V4 comes with a MotoGP-derived V4 engine. It can be called the cruiser version of the Diavel motorcycle due to the riding position which has been redesigned for medium-range touring.
The all-new XDiavel V4 flaunts a bold design, inspired by supercars, with four-exit exhaust. It gets the signature full-LED front with double C profile DRL. The turn indicators have been integrated into the side panels while the rear light cluster also houses LED units. The bike boasts of a single-sided aluminium swingarm while the rear suspension travel has been increased by 25 mm.
The all-new XDiavel V4 rides on five star-shaped spoked rims while the handlebar is positioned lower as compared to XDiavel 1260. The bike has a lower saddle height of 770 mm. The seat has been improved for more pillion space as it is now 30 percent wider, 50 percent longer and 25 mm thicker than before. The rear grab handle comes as standard equipment. The footpegs can be positioned backwards and an accessory tail fairing can be availed to convert the XDiavel V4 into a single-seater model.

At the heart, the all-new XDiavel V4 houses the new 1158 cc V4 Granturismo engine which generates max power of 166 bhp at 10,750 rpm and peak torque of 126 Nm at 7500 rpm. Sitting on an aluminium monocoque frame, it can do the 0-100 kmph sprint in less than 3 secs. Tipping the weighing scale at 229 kg, the bike comes with fully adjustable inverted front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. The XDiavel V4 has a service interval of 60,000 km.
In terms of features, the all-new Ducati XDiavel V4 comes with multiple ride modes (Sport, Touring, Urban and Wet), Ducati Traction Control, Cruise Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Quick Shifter, Launch Control and ABS Cornering. It also comes packed with a new 6.9-inch TFT colour dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing (calls, messages, music) and an optional Turn-by-turn navigation system. This screen has been borrowed from the Panigale V4.
