Kawasaki KLX230 Gets New Extended Warranty Schemes – Details

Kawasaki has rolled out multiple new extended warranty schemes on the purchase of the KLX230 in the Indian market

Kawasaki KLX230 is one of the most value-for-money road-legal adventure motorcycles in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom), it gets three new extended warranty schemes. The KLX230 comes with a standard warranty of three years, which has a coverage for engine parts and gearbox components. Now, with the introduction of these three programs, the buyers can enjoy a cover of up to 10 years. The customers can opt for any of the three extended warranty schemes at the time of booking the KLX230.

First things first, Kawasaki KLX230 can be purchased with three extended warranty schemes of two-year, four-year, and seven-year. These are automatically added to the standard warranty of three years and hence expanding the coverage to five-year, seven-year and ten-year, respectively. Hence, a customer has the option of choosing maximum warranty cover for the bike.

The KLX230 came into limelight earlier this year in Aug when Kawasaki commenced its local production in India and subsequently it witnessed a drop in price by Rs 1.30 lakh. Before the local production, it used to cost a whooping Rs 3.30 lakh. However, things changed rapidly post the beginning of manufacturing in India, and it became one of the most value-for-money models in its segment.

The KLX230 price was further reduced in Sep 2025 due to the introduction of revised GST in the country. As the Union govt slashed the tax on bikes with engine capacity lower than 350cc to 18 percent from the existing 28 percent, Kawasaki KLX230 price came down to Rs 1.84 lakh. It was lowered down by approx Rs 16,000 after the GST overhaul, and thus making it more accessible for the buyers.

Kawasaki KLX230 is available in two colour schemes namely Lime Green and Battle Gray + Bright White + Ebony. Now, with multiple price reductions, it has come pretty close to the Hero Xpulse 210 which is priced in a bracket of Rs 1.62-1.71 lakh (ex-showroom). Sitting on a high-tensile steel perimeter frame, the ADV bike boasts of dual-LED headlamp, 21-inch front wheel, switchable ABS, and all-digital LCD instrument cluster.
