The 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R will be the next big launch in the Indian market from the world’s biggest two-wheeler brand
The 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R was recently showcased to the company dealers at a private event in New Delhi. Now, clear images of the upcoming Hero bike have surfaced on the internet from a dealership, which indicates that the brand has commenced the dealer dispatch and the prices could be announced shortly. The 2025 Xtreme 125R looks striking, premium and upmarket than its predecessor as it borrows a lot of features from the Glamour X 125 and Xtreme 250R. It rivals TVS Raider 125 and Honda CB125 Hornet in the Indian market.
As per the video shared by a Jaipur-based YouTuber Shahrukh Akhtar, the 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R is presented in a new green colour scheme with refreshed graphics which makes it appear far more attractive than the preceding model. However, there is no other substantial cosmetic update carried out in the new iteration of the bike as it carries the same LED headlamp, front fender and side panels.
The latest version of the bike comes with an electronic throttle which we have already seen on the Glamour X. It gets the cruise control function of the right hand side of the switchgear while the left hand side switchgear is for operating the instrument cluster. The 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R becomes the only 125cc sporty model in India to come with cruise control.

The 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R is offered with a new coloured LCD display with advanced features such as Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation. This LCD screen setup is sourced from the Xtreme 250R and Glamour X. With the inclusion of these features, the 2025 Xtreme 125R is now on par with its foes namely Bajaj Pulsar N125, Honda CB125 Hornet and TVS Raider 125.
The 2026 Xtreme 125R comes loaded with identical tyres and split-seat setup as the outgoing model. A few notable features retained from the current version of the bike include LED tail-lamp cluster, LED turn indicators and hazard lamps. It is also likely to feature auto emergency brake lights and USB type-C charging port. The biggest feature update in the 2025 Xtreme 125R comes in the form of a dual-channel ABS. Recently, the Raider 125 was also updated with dual-channel ABS by TVS.

At the heart, we do not expect any changes and the sporty 125cc motorcycle will continue to draw power from the same 124.7cc single-cylinder petrol engine. The power output and torque performance are also likely to be identical at 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm, respectively. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox while suspension duties will be handled by the same telescopic front forks and monoshock rear absorber.
