The Scrambler Rizoma Edition will be available in extremely limited numbers in India as it is introduced to commemorate 10 years of the new Scrambler
Ducati India has launched the Scrambler 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition at a sticker price of Rs 17.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India) in the country. Being a limited edition model with 500 units available worldwide, it has been designed and developed in partnership with Rizoma to celebrate a decade of the new Ducati Scrambler. The Italian superbike brand has allocated limited units for sale in the Indian market. Ducati Scrambler 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition deliveries will start from today onwards in the country.
Being a collectors’ Ducati Scrambler, it has been presented in Metal Rose finishing. The overall livery, created by Rizoma with the Centre Stile Ducati, uses chromatic balance of Stone White, black and Metal Rose. While the majority of the components such as the fuel tank, engine, chassis elements, bar-end mirrors and the exhaust system are finished in black theme, covers, footrests, and windshield flaunt Metal Rose colour in contrast to the tank cover and mudguard, which get Stone White finish.
Commenting on the launch, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, said, “The Ducati Scrambler Rizoma edition is literally an art piece rolling on two wheels. Rizoma has succeeded in the difficult task of reinterpreting the Scrambler while maintaining its essence. I am thrilled to see the rigor, the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the treatment, including the colour, that Rizoma has incorporated in the concept which is perfect for the celebratory version of the tenth anniversary of Scrambler.”

The limited edition bike retains the signature elements of the stock model in the form of headlights, tank, and 4.3-inch TFT display. Some of the notable features onboard the Ducati Scrambler Rizoma edition are ride-by-wire throttle, quickshifter and multiple riding modes. Needless to mention, the Scrambler is the entry-level model in Ducati’s portfolio.
Mechanically, the Scrambler Rizoma edition is similar to the standard model with the 803cc Desmodue twin-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which generates max power of 72 bhp and peak torque of 65.2 Nm. However, it boasts of new clutch and alternator covers. Identical to the recently launched Ducati superbikes in India, the Scrambler Rizoma Edition is also E20 fuel compliant.

Sitting on a steel trellis frame, Ducati Scrambler Rizoma edition is nearly Rs 6.45 lakh costlier than the Scrambler Icon Dark. Though the company has rolled out 500 units globally, it is yet unclear how many units will be brought to the Indian market as the press note shared by Ducati states “limited units’ and not a specific number.
