This article lists the top 5 adventure bikes unveiling at the EICMA 2025 and launching in the Indian market next year
The middleweight adventure bikes are selling like hot cakes in the Indian market. Two of the most prominent and household names that have set this segment on fire are Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure. Now, multiple two-wheeler brands such as TVS, Hero MotoCorp and BMW are ready to foray into this segment with their new models that are set to be unveiled at the EICMA 2025 on Nov 4. Hence, in this piece, we will talk about the top 5 India-bound adventure bikes breaking cover at the Motorcycle show next week in Milan, Italy.
1. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
Royal Enfield is going to present its biggest adventure motorcycle till date at the EICMA 2025 on Nov 4 to the world. Though the Himalayan 750 has been spotted several times during its test runs, it will be officially unveiled in Milan, Italy. Needless to state, it will be the most expensive Royal Enfield bike with prices likely to start around Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Some of the key features expected in the Himalayan 750 are wire-spoke wheels, dual-disc front brake and adjustable rear suspension. At the heart, it will have a newly developed 750cc engine with max power of around 55 bhp and peak torque of 60 Nm while paired to a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand could showcase the bike in India at its annual motorcycling festival Motoverse on Nov 21 in Goa.
2. BMW F 450 GS
The F 450 GS concept was unveiled exactly a year back at the last edition of EICMA. Now, the production-ready F 450 GS has been confirmed to debut at the EICMA 2025 on Nov 4. It is likely to go on sale in early 2026 in the Indian market while produced locally at TVS factory in Hosur. Design-wise, BMW F 450 GS takes inspiration from the bigger R 1300 GS.

It will be the German brand’s entry-level adventure motorcycle in India as it fills in the shoes of the now discontinued G 310 GS. Some of the notable features onboard will be switchable dual-channel ABS, traction control, ride modes, all-LED lighting, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels and coloured TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. It will be powered by a 450cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with top power of 48 bhp and highest torque of 45 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
3. Norton Atlas
The resurgence of the UK-based Norton Motorcycle, now owned by TVS Motor Company, will begin with the unveiling of four new models at the EICMA 2025, including the new Atlas adventure bike. In all likelihood, it will use the 450cc engine platform of the BMW F 450 GS. The recent media reports claim that Norton Atlas will be launched by April 2026 in India while sold via TVS dealerships initially until Norton has its own showrooms in the country.

It will be locally developed at the TVS production facility in Hosur alongside the F 450 GS. Though not much info is available regarding the design and features, we expect the ADV bike to come with modern styling and a plethora of bells and whistles. The Atlas will be powered by a twin-cylinder engine as it rivals Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the Indian market.
4. TVS 450 Adventure
TVS Motor Company recently launched its first-ever adventure bike in India in the form of the Apache RTX 300. Now, the brand has confirmed via a teaser video that it is going to introduce an even bigger ADV motorcycle at the EICMA 2025 on Nov 4. Claimed to be the 450 Adventure, it will be based on the BMW F 450 GS as confirmed by Sudarshan Venu – Chairman & MD, TVS Motor Company.

The company has been extremely tightlipped on the new ADV bike and hence there is limited info on the design, features and engine specs in public domain. It will be manufactured at the Hosur factory with higher levels of localisation to keep the pricing aggressive. TVS Adventure 450 will be up against the might of KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
5. Hero Xpulse 421
Hero MotoCorp retails the Xpulse 210 as an entry-level adventure bike in India. However, during the last edition of EICMA, it made its intentions clear about presenting a bigger version of the ADV bike and briefly teased the Xpulse 421. Now, it’s all over the media that Hero Xpulse 421 will break cover at the EICMA 2025 on Nov 4. Earlier this year, the design patent of the upcoming Hero adventure bike was leaked online.

Sitting on a trellis frame, Hero Xpulse 421 will be offered with several premium features such as all-LED lighting, 21-inch front wheel, upswept exhaust, knuckle guards, switchable dual-channel ABS, ride modes, coloured TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Reports claim that Hero will equip the Xpulse 421 with a new 421cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with power output around 35-40 bhp, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. It could be launched in the second quarter of 2026 in India.
