Royal Enfield sold a total of 1,02,600 units of the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 in Sep 2025 in the Indian market
Earlier this month, we told you that Royal Enfield has shattered all the previous sales records by retailing over 1.24 lakh bikes in Sep 2025, including the exports. Now, after going through the model-wise data, it has been learnt that the company sold more than 1 lakh units of its 350cc motorcycles which includes the Classic, Bullet, Hunter, Meteor and Goan Classic. Recently, the Chennai-based two-wheeler brand had benefitted the most by the cut in GST rates from 28 percent to 18 percent as the prices of its entire 350cc bikes portfolio had dropped during the Diwali festive season.
The model-wise sales data reveals that Classic 350 spearheaded the sales success of Royal Enfield last month with 40,449 units as compared to 33,065 units sold in Sep 2024. Upnext was the Bullet 350 with a staggering YoY growth of over 100 percent as 25,915 units were sold in Sep 2025 against 12,901 units during the same month last year. These two popular models were the biggest contributors in Royal Enfield’s stellar performance last month.

Earlier this year in April, Royal Enfield launched the Hunter 350 in a refreshed avatar with new features and improved suspension setup. Hence, it too showed healthy signs of growth in Sep 2025 with 21,801 units being retailed as compared to 17,406 units in Sep 2024. For the unversed, the Hunter 350 is the entry-level model in the brand’s 350cc portfolio as it is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh, down from Rs 1.50 lakh, due to the recent GST overhaul.
| Model | Sep 2025 Sales | Sep 2024 Sales | YoY Growth |
| Classic 350 | 40,449 | 33,065 | 22.33% |
| Bullet 350 | 25,915 | 12,901 | 100.88% |
| Hunter 350 | 21,801 | 17,406 | 25.25% |
| Meteor 350 | 14,435 | 8,665 | 66.59% |
| Total | 1,02,600 | 72,037 | 42.5% |
The Meteor 350 sales too picked up in Sep 2025 as the brand sold 14,435 units against 8,665 units in Sep 2024. The YoY growth of more than 66 percent was achieved due to the introduction of new version of the bike, which went on sale from Sep 15 with several advanced features such as LED headlamps, Tripper pod, LED turn indicators, USB Type-C fast-charging port, Assist-and-slip clutch and adjustable levers. The 2025 Meteor 350 is priced between Rs 1.91-2.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield had to increase the prices of its 450cc and 650cc motorcycles due to the revised GST rates for bikes with engine capacity above 350cc being capped at 40 percent from the existing 28 percent. However, there was minimal impact of price hike particularly on the Himalayan 450 as its sales numbers almost doubled in Sep 2025 with 3,939 units from 1,814 units in Sep 2024.

The 650cc models namely Super Meteor, 650 Twins and Shotgun too witnessed a rise in sales volumes last month with 1,101 units, 3,856 units and 279 units from 685 units, 2,869 units and 264 units, respectively, in Sep 2024. In all, the GST 2.0 impact on the 450cc and 650cc was not felt at all despite the bikes getting expensive by up to Rs 29,000 in the domestic market.
