Bike selection, sometimes, can be tricky if you have higher aspirations with a limited budget. Though the Indian two-wheeler industry is filled with a plethora of budget-friendly feature-rich bikes, still it becomes a herculean task to choose the best motorcycle which can tick all the boxes in your checklist. Hence, in this piece, we have curated a list of best bikes under Rs 2 lakh that you can consider buying this Diwali festive season.
1. Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Royal Enfield’s entry-level motorcycle in India, the Hunter 350 is priced between Rs 1.38-1.67 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. It benefitted from the recent cut in GST rates as the price dropped by up to Rs 15k. The bike is available in seven colour options namely Factory Black, Rio White, Graphite Grey, Dapper Grey, Tokyo Black, London Red and Rebel Blue.
Some of the notable features onboard the roadster bike are LED headlamp, digi-analogue instrument cluster with tripper pod, type-C USB fast charging port and slip-assist clutch. In addition, the 2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350, launched in April, was rolled out with increased ground clearance, improved seat comfort and new rear suspension. It is powered by the sane 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine which generates 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm, paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
2. Hero Xpulse 210
It will not be understatement to term the Xpulse 210 as the most capable and economical adventure bike in India. Available in two variants namely Base and Top at price points of Rs Rs 1.62 lakh and Rs 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively, it is retailed via the Premia dealerships in the country. While the base trim is offered only in Glacier White colour, the Top grade can be availed in Azure Blue and Alpine Silver paint shades.

The ADV bike comes with several advanced features in the form of rugged front grab bar, upswept exhaust, LED projector headlamp with signature H-shaped DRLs, H-shaped LED tail lamp, 4.2-inch TFT display, and Dual-channel switchable ABS with Road, Off-Road, and Rally modes. At the heart, it has a 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with top power of 24.2 bhp and peak torque of 20.7 Nm which is linked to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper and assist clutch.
3. Triumph Speed T4
Priced at Rs 1.93 lakh (ex-showroom), Triumph Speed T4 is the entry-level motorcycle in the British brand’s portfolio in India. It is available in four dual-tone colours namely Caspian Blue + Pearl White, Lava Red Gloss + Pearl White, Phantom Black + Pearl White, and Phantom Black + Storm Grey. Recently, a new Baja Orange colour was also introduced while the price was reduced by around Rs 14k despite the GST being hiked to 40 percent from the existing 28 percent.

The Speed T4 is offered with an array of advanced features such as all-LED headlamp with Daytime Running Light (DRL), brushed steel exhaust, 3D Speed T4 badge, slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS and 43 mm telescopic forks. The bike draws power from the 398cc single-cylinder TR-Series engine which churns out 30.6 bhp and 36 Nm while coupled with a 6-speed transmission.
4. Yamaha R15
The R15 is presented in three versions in the Indian market namely R15 S at Rs 1.54 lakh, R15 V4 between Rs 1.69-1.74 lakh, and lastly the R15 M in a range of Rs 1.84-1.94 lakh. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom. Sitting on a deltabox frame, Yamaha R15 series comes with some of the most high-end features such as traction control, assist and slipper clutch, quickshifter on select variants, USD front forks, and linked-type monocross rear suspension.

It is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which delivers max power of 18.1 bhp and highest torque of 14.2 Nm. The engine comes with a high-performance VVA system which ensures seamless torque delivery even at low RPMs. The E20 fuel compliant engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The R15 has a decent ground clearance of 170 mm.
5. Bajaj Pulsar N250
The Pulsar N250, the naked streetfighter from Bajaj, is priced at Rs 1.33 lakh (ex-showroom) which makes it the most affordable motorcycle in its segment. The bike is sold in three colour schemes namely Glossy Racing Red, Brooklyn Black and Pearl Metallic White. It is packed with several top-notch features such as digital Bluetooth-connected console, Champagne gold USD forks, ride modes, dual channel ABS, assist slipper clutch and traction control.
Mechanically, Bajaj Pulsar N250 houses a 249.07cc single-cylinder Fi engine which is capable of generating 24.2 bhp and 21.5 Nm while offered with a 5-speed transmission. The stopping power comes from disc brakes at both the ends. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The ground clearance is also quite reasonable at 165 mm.
