The route also passes along the world’s deepest gorge called the Kaligandki River. Throughout the trip one will experience the mighty Himalayas, the thrill of riding on some of world’s high altitudes, enjoy the serene beauty of the valleys, lakes and rivers.

Himalayan-Bike-Trip (1)

The ride begins from Kathmandu, capital of Nepal. The city is at an altitude level of around 1400 meters. The city has a good night life and houses some exciting casinos, pubs and night clubs. The city also has lot of historical and cultural places to visit such as the famous Pashupatinath Temple. You will be riding about 290 KMs and reach a considerable low altitude town called Beni, in the western region of Nepal. You will be staying overnight; this an important point of our ride. This will help all riders acclimatize to the altitudes and by that time the riding momentum will be built, as the next stop is Muktinath, which will be way above 3800 meters altitude.

On the way from Beni, you will be riding on a really high terrain and experience the mighty Himalayas, encounter lots of streams on the way. You will be staying overnight at Muktinath and then the next day you will drive downhill for about 30KM and spend the entire day and overnight in the town of Jomsom, and experience the beautiful landscape and high peaks of the Himalayans. The next day you will head to the famous lake city, Pokhara. The Pokhara region has some interesting mountain peaks, they suddenly rise in every 30 KMs ranging from 1000 meters to 7000 meters. You will be staying overnight at Pokhara and the next day morning you will head back to Kathmandu.
