As has been in the news, KTM is getting ready with its second Adventure model for India – the 250 Adventure that has not been revealed or launched anywhere in the world yet! India is likely to be the first market to get this baby ADV.
Now just ahead of its launch, the 250 Adventure has been revealed to the company dealers at an event. This gets unfolded through a video that has emerged online. Some company official is seen taking the veils off the 250 ADV in the presence of few people which are claimed to be from the dealer fraternity.
It also gets cleared in the video that the India-spec 250 ADV will come with a halogen powered headlamp unit surrounded by LED DRLs. With the recent update of the 250 Duke to LED headlamps, it was expected that the ADV may also follow suit but KTM has probably kept this update for some other day.

What you see on this page is the orange color of the motorcycle and it will also be sold in black color (pictured above) which looks sportier. It will come with 250 Duke’s 248.8cc, liquid cooled, 4 valve engine that produces 30 PS of peak power and 24 Nm of max torque. ADV body and traits are taken from the elder sibling 390 ADV.

The existence of the quarter liter model is because KTM wants to offer an affordable option to bikers. It is expected to undercut the 390 ADV by around Rs 60,000-65,000.
