2026 Suzuki Burgman Street Spotted Testing – Details

The 2026 Suzuki Burgman Street will not only get substantial styling updates but it will also be powered by an upgraded engine

Suzuki Motorcycle India has recently launched the 2025 Burgman range with new colour options and OBD-2B compliant engine in the domestic market. Now, the 2026 Burgman facelift has been spotted on camera for the first time, albeit with heavy camouflage. The upcoming model of the Suzuki scooter will get a cosmetic makeover while it is believed to undergo minor mechanical updates as well. It is reported by a few sections of the media that the 2026 Suzuki Burgman facelift will be introduced with similar upgrades as the Access 125, which went on sale a few months back.

The spy-images reveal that the 2026 Burgman is likely to flaunt a new brake light inspired by the Avenis. However, the display will be retained from the present model of the scooter. The company is also expected to introduce a few modern features, just like it did with the new Access 125.

Interestingly, the spy-shots also show the 2026 Burgman carrying a different exhaust which clearly indicates subtle updates to the engine and chassis. The exhaust pipe spotted on the test mule resembled the latest version of the Access 125. Hence, it is pretty certain that Suzuki will make revisions to the powertrain.

Suzuki Burgman Street debuted nearly seven years back in 2018 in the Indian market. And, since then, it has not seen any major upgrades in terms of styling, equipment and hardware. Recently, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer rolled out the OBD-2B compliant version of the maxi-scooter with a new colour scheme. However, the overall design and features remained the same.

The Burgman Street is available in two variants namely Street and EX at price points of Rs 95,800 and Rs 1.16 lakh (Both the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively, in our country. The EX series rides on bigger 12-inch wheels as standard. We also expect the facelifted model to be slightly more expensive than the ongoing version of the scooter due to modern features and upgraded engine.

Since it is the first time that the scooter has been spied testing, we believe that it will only launch by next year. For reference, the updated Suzuki Access was launched several months after the first test mule was captured on camera during the test runs. Suzuki Burgman rivals TVS Ntorq 125, Aprilia SXR 125 and Hero Maestro Edge 125 in the Indian market.
