2026 Ducati Monster V2 Launch Price Rs 13.99 Lakh in India

The fifth-gen model of the naked sportsbike is lighter than before while powered by a new twin-cylinder V2 engine

Ducati India has launched the fifth-gen 2026 Monster V2 naked sportsbike in the country. Rolled out in Monster and Monster+ grades, it has been priced between Rs 13.99-14.45 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Sitting on a monocoque frame, the 2026 Ducati Monster V2 will be available in three colour schemes namely Ducati Red, Iceberg White and Sport Livery. The latest iteration of the naked sportsbike comes with a refreshed design, advanced electronic package and a new V2 twin-cylinder powertrain.

First things first, the 2026 Ducati Monster V2 comes with a restyled bison-back tank while flaunting a full-LED headlamp. The seat is narrower while its height has been reduced by 5 mm to keep it at 815 mm. The lower part on the side panel covers feature the Ducati shield is flanked by the coordinates of the historic Borgo Panigale factory. It has been introduced with silencers with titanium liners and carbon end caps, developed in collaboration with Termignoni.

2026 Ducati Monster V2

The 2026 Monster V2 sheds 4 kg of weight as compared to the outgoing model. It tips the weighing scale at 175 kg with an empty tank. The maintenance intervals are much longer (45,000 km) due to the new Ducati V2 engine with IVT timing. Some of the notable elements in the naked sportsbike are a double-sided swingarm, 43 mm upside-down (USD) front forks, rear monoshock suspension with adjustable pre-load, Brembo braking system with dual 320 mm front disc units, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.

The 2026 Ducati Monster V2 boasts of four rides modes namely Sport, Road, Urban and Wet. A few prominent bells and whistles onboard the naked motorcycle are Cornering ABS; Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Cruise Control, Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, and Engine Brake Control. It also gets a new 5-inch TFT instrument console with a petal-shaped joystick which can be used to operate Ducati Multimedia System and Turn-by-turn navigation.

At the heart, the 2026 Monster V2 houses the 890cc twin-cylinder engine which belts out 109.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm at 7,250 rpm. Ducati claims that more than 80 percent of the maximum torque is available between 4,000 and 10,000 rpm. Apart from getting all the features of the base variant, the Monster+ also comes with a headlight cowl and passenger seat cover.
