Both these middleweight motorcycles come in new colour choices, albeit with a reduced pricing to make them more accessible to the customers
Piaggio India has launched the 2026 Aprilia RS 457 and Tuono 457 in the country. The price of both these models has been slashed by up to Rs 29,000 and thus bringing them closer to the pre-GST 2.0 levels. While the 2026 Aprilia RS 457 price stands at Rs 4.22 lakh, the 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 will now be sold at Rs 3.97 lakh in the Indian market. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Maharashtra. In addition, the company has also introduced the GP Replica variant of the RS 457 at a sticker price of Rs 4.37 lakh.
Aprilia RS 457 comes in two new colour schemes in the form of Coral Blue Snake and Arsenic Yellow. Both these paint shades were unveiled at the 2025 India Bike Week (IBW) in Goa. The GP Replica trim had debuted at the EICMA 2025 with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard feature. It is around Rs 15,000 more expensive than the stock version of the fully-faired sports bike.
Aprilia RS 457 GP Replica also gets adjustable levers and premium brake pads as standard. It flaunts an all-black colour with the main frame and swingarm also finished in the same paint shade. The GP Replica comes with official sponsor graphics which are inspired by the RS-GP race bike. The regular version of the RS 457 can also be had with a bi-directional quickshifter at an additional cost of Rs 25,000.

The Aprilia RS 457 is one of the most technologically advanced motorcycle in its segment with bells and whistles like 5-inch TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes, dual-channel ABS, ride-by-wire throttle and traction control. The styling is also quite aggressive with multiple striking elements in the form of dual-LED headlamps, sharp front fairing, and compact tail section.
Coming to the 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457, it comes in two colours namely Piranha Red and Puma Grey. It was earlier sold at a price point of Rs 4.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) due to the revised GST rates on bikes with engine capacity above 350cc being increased from 31 percent to 40 percent. However, Aprilia offered a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and free quickshifter worth Rs 20,500 for a limited period till December 25, 2025.

At the heart, both the bikes have the same 457cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates top power of 47.6 bhp and peak torque of 43.5 Nm. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission and slipper clutch. The Tuono 457 was retailed at Rs 3.95 lakh before GST 2.0 kicked in and hence, now it is only Rs 2,000 more expensive than before.
