The 2026 Ampere Magnus Neo comes with new colour schemes and refreshed styling while powered by the same 2.3 kWh LFP battery pack
Greaves Electric Mobility (GEM) has launched the all-new Magnus Neo e-scooter at a sticker price of Rs 86,999/- (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. It has been introduced with new colour schemes and refreshed styling as the price remains the same as the preceding model. There is no noticeable mechanical update to report in the newest version of the e-scooter. The 2026 Ampere Magnus Neo will directly rival TVS Orbiter V1 and Hero Vida VX2 in the budget-friendly electric scooter segment in India.
First things first, Ampere Magnus Neo has been offered in four colour schemes namely Mystic Mauve, Butter Yellow, Ocean Blue, and Matcha Green. It gets a new wheel and motor configuration while the overall weight has been reduced to 103 kg. Built on the trusted Magnus Neo platform, the electric scooter has a saddle height of 777 mm for easier handling and better reach on the ground.
Commenting about the launch, Mr Vikas Singh, MD, Greaves Electric Mobility said, “Comfort and ease of rideability remain central to our product philosophy, whether for short daily commutes or longer journeys. The new Magnus Neo has been developed as a lighter, more comfortable, and easier-to-handle family scooter, designed for Indian road conditions and everyday use. With this launch, we aim to make electric mobility more practical and accessible for a wider set of riders, while addressing real, on-ground riding needs.”

Sitting on a dual-frame chassis, it has a ground clearance of 158 mm, which can be considered adequate for Indian road conditions. The 2026 Ampere Magnus Neo is powered by the same 2.3 kWh LFP battery pack which returns an IDC range of 118 km on a full charge. The electric scooter has a top speed of 65 kmph while it takes around 5 hours for a 0-80 percent charge.
The company claims that the 2026 Magnus Neo comes with battery life of up to 10 years. The safety of the battery pack has been tested across varied temperatures, ranging from -40°C to 60°C. The stopping power comes from traditional drum brakes at both the ends while the frame is suspended by telescopic front forks and coil spring rear suspension.

The 2026 Ampere Magnus Neo has a maximum loading capacity of 150 kg. GEM is also offering an off-board charger for added convenience. In Feb 2026, Greaves Electric Mobility outnumbered Ola Electric and became India’s fifth largest electric two-wheeler brand in terms of retail volumes. The company presently has more than 400 touchpoints (sales and service centres) in the Indian market.
