The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is presented with a bigger engine, new features and a rally-inspired sleek design.
KTM India has finally launched the 2025 390 Adventure at a sticker price of Rs 3.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the country. Being unveiled at the India Bike Week (IBW) 2024 in Goa, it sits on a new frame while getting modern features and a new engine. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure bookings have already commenced at the company’s official website at a token amount of Rs 1999/- as deliveries are expected to commence shortly. The Austrian two-wheeler brand also announced that the 2025 KTM 390 Enduro R, showcased at the IBW 2024, will go on sale at a later stage.
The 2025 390 Adventure flaunts LED projector headlamps upfront while the turn indicators and tail-lamp also house LED units. The overall styling of the bike is inspired from the Rally motorcycles with sturdy fairings and sleek profile. It boasts of a metal fuel tank of 14.5 litres capacity. The new rally-inspired KTM CTG graphics and a unique stainless steel exhaust are also seen on the 2025 390 Adventure.
It rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels. It sits on a new 2-piece steel trellis frame which is based on the Gen 3 platform, already shared with the Duke 390. The new gravity die-cast swingarm is borrowed from the 390 Enduro R with greater focus on off-roading. The suspension duties are carried by WP-sourced fully adjustable 44 mm open cartridge USD front forks with 200 mm of travel and a mono-shock rear absorber with 205 mm travel and preload adjustability.
The 2025 390 Adventure comes with a ground clearance of 227 mm which is 27 mm more than before. The saddle height is tipped at 830 mm and it has been reduced by 25 mm as compared to the previous model. The kerb weight of the bike has gone up by 6 kg as it now stands at 183 kg. The stopping power is provided by Bybre-sourced disc brakes at front (320 mm) as well as rear (240 mm). The brakes work in sync with a selectable off-road ABS mode.
KTM has presented the bike with a rally-inspired 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with functions like music player via the KTMConnect app, incoming calls alert, and turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets three riding modes in the form of Street, Rain and Off-road. Some other notable features on-board are Adjustable clutch levers, Cruise control, Switchable motorcycle traction control, Quickshifter+ and Cornering MTC. A special mention goes to the ‘always on’ feature which keeps the last used ride mode ready when the motorcycle is started again after switching off the ignition.
Mechanically, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is powered by the 399 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled LC4C petrol engine which generates top power of 45 bhp and peak torque of 39 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission which gets revised gear ratios. The gearbox operates with a power-assist slipper clutch. The 2025 390 Adventure directly rivals Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the Indian market.
