The 2025 Honda Shine 125 is introduced with new colours, advanced features and updated engine in the Indian market
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2025 Shine 125 with a OBD2B compliant engine in the country. It is available in two variants namely Drum and Disc at price points of Rs 84,493 and Rs 89,245 (Both ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. Besides the updated engine, the 2025 Honda Shine 125 also gets a new paint shade and modern features. The motorcycle is positioned in the highly competitive 125cc segment of commuters which already has the likes of Hero Splendor Plus, TVS Raider and Bajaj Pulsar 125 in India.
Retaining the original design and silhouette, the 2025 Honda Shine 125 is offered in six colours namely Pearl Igneous Black, Geny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue. Furthermore, it has been equipped with a 90mm wider rear tyre for even more stability on the road.
As for features, the 2025 Shine 125 boasts of a fully digital instrument console which displays an array of information in form of real-time mileage, Range (distance to empty), service due indicator, gear position indicator and Eco indicator. Honda has also fitted a USB Type-C charging port as standard to charge Smartphones on the go.
Mechanically, it carries the same 123.94cc, single-cylinder PGM-Fi petrol engine with idling stop system. The engine has been updated to meet the latest OBD2B emission norms as it dishes out top power of 10.6 bhp at 7500 rpm and highest torque of 11 Nm at 6000 rpm while mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
