New 2024 Pulsar NS200 Teased; Coming Soon

Upcoming 2024 Pulsar NS200 is expected to get new headlamp with LEDs and a new instrument cluster with smartphone pairability feature..

Late last year, Rajiv Bajaj announced that there will be a complete overhaul of the Pulsar lineup in India and we will see as many as six updates to the portfolio. And there will be a new ‘biggest-ever’ Pulsar as well.

Few of the models have already been introduced and it seems that next up will be the Pulsar NS200. Bajaj has teased a new model that looks like the 2024 NS. From the clips shown, not a lot can be made out, but there is a clear possibility of the motorcycle receiving a new digital instrument cluster similar to the one that the N150 and N160 has received recently.

It must be noted that Bajaj has carried over the same digital-analog meter console since its introduction way back around 2011-12. It will be the first time that the street naked will get completely new instrumentation. That also means that the motorcycle will now have Smartphone pairability through Bluetooth. And then there will be additional features like call receive/decline, SMS, notifications, etc. Another change that we expect is the LED headlamp set-up that has been requested by a lot of Pulsar fans.

It must be noted that just last year Bajaj surprised everyone by lending the biggest update to the NS200. It received upside down front forks, updated display console with additional features like distance to empty, instantaneous fuel economy, average fuel economy, etc. You can watch its review here.

Biggest Pulsar Would be ~400cc, Claims a Report; Launch Soon

The mechanicals are expected to remain unchanged which means the motorcycle will still produce the same 24.5 PS of peak power (which is already exceptional for the segment) and 18.7 Nm of max torque from the 199.5cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine, which comes paired to a six speed gearbox.

It will be interesting to see if Bajaj throws in additional features and colors in the new version. Launch can be expected anytime soon at a slightly revised price than the current Rs 1,49,363 ex-showroom.
