SPIED: 2024 Pulsar NS160 Spotted; Getting a New Face?

2024 Pulsar NS160 spy pics have surfaced on the internet suggesting new changes that will come to the naked motorcycle. Launch will be soon…

Bajaj has already announced that it will focus on its Pulsar brand and there will be a lot of upgrades and a ‘biggest ever’ model is coming up. In this series, the Pulsar NS160 has been snapped fully camouflaged.

It must be noted that Bajaj gave a fresh lease of life to the NS series by updating the 200 and the 160 last year. The motorcycles received their biggest-ever refreshes and it seems Bajaj is not done yet. Not a lot can be deciphered from the test mule but it appears that the company is working on changing the face of the motorcycle.

The NS range has continued with broadly the same styling (and headlamp design) since its launch over a decade ago. Apart from bringing a more aggressive styled headlamp, Bajaj may also offer it as an LED unit, as it is fast becoming a norm in motorcycles. Currently, the model is available with conventional bulbs.

Apart from this, there is a word that the 2024 model may also come with a new instrument cluster – that will have connectivity features – either as standard or optional. The switchgear on this mule has a button that can operate the cluster.

Reportedly, the 2024 NS160 may get a cluster inspired by Chetak – with optional or standard connectivity features.

Connected motorcycles with digital readouts is again something that every other motorcycle now comes with. Currently, Bajaj is focusing on providing usable features and it generally avoids getting too gimmicky! And we must also applaud it for being one of the very few makers to have still stuck with needles!

The new model will definitely get fresher color liveries and there may be other changes underneath all that camouflage.

OPINION: Bajaj PULSAR – Where is it Going?

The current NS160 produces a healthy 17.2 PS of peak power output and 14.6 Nm of max torque from its oil cooled twin spark 160.3cc engine. That is expected to remain unchanged. According to the official website, it costs Rs 1,36,736 ex-showroom Delhi and with the new variant coming in, this may further rise. Launch can be expected in the coming few months…
