2024 Ninja 300 costs the same as before and comes with no mechanical change at all. It also retains the same set of features..
Around a decade back Kawasaki launched the Ninja 300 in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) which entailed hefty taxes and its price back then was 3.50 Lakh – quite a high number during those times. Today, over 10 years later, the Jap has officially launched the 2024 Ninja 300 in the Indian market – and the motorcycle costs the same as before – 3.43 Lac.
Kawasaki took the big decision to manufacture this generation in India and that is the reason why you see a fairly aggressive price tag. Interestingly, this very model has been discontinued from the world and only Kawasaki India continues to make it – just for our market.
In all these years, Kawasaki has kept on dragging the baby Ninja with almost no changes and just new color shades. The 2024 model has received a similar treatment as well. There are two new colors on offer – Metallic Moondust Grey and Candy Lime Green.
OPINION: Why Does the Kawasaki W175 Exist in India?
The Ninja 300 continues with the same 296cc, parallel twin, liquid cooled engine that churns 39 PS of peak power at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm of max torque at 10,000 rpm.
Despite its age, the Ninja 300 is a fairly decent seller and was the largest selling Kawasaki in India (only recently Z900 overtook it). All of this is owing to one of the biggest USP – it is the most affordable Twin Cylinder Faired Sports motorcycle you can buy right now! And it is brilliant to ride as well!
