There are speculations that this could be the 2024 Jupiter 110 that may come with comprehensive changes and new features…
TVS has shot in a media invite that reads ‘Get Your Front Row Seat to the Next of TVS!‘. This is followed by the text ‘Join us as we launch an exciting offering‘. The invite just shares a simple teaser which appears to be an LED strip. And then we have the date as 22 August 2024 along with the time ie 12:05 PM.
Now, I have no clue on what this could be but there is a widespread belief (that appears to have emanated out of somewhere concrete) that TVS will launch the 2024 Jupiter 110 on 22nd August in India. The Jupiter is the company’s big seller – in fact, it is India’s second largest selling scooter and an extremely important product for the brand. However, TVS has kept the scooter without a lot of changes in all these years.
So, if this actually is the Jupiter 110, expect the next generation model – which, I believe, will be completely updated from the current model on sale. The LED strip that we see here could be the apron light that it may sport. Like the current variant that spawns from Rs 73,000 till almost Rs 90,000 – spanning as many as six different variants – as listed on the website, the 2024 Jupiter may also come with a lot of options.

The current Jupiter sports a very neutral, appeal-to-all design and is promoted as a family scooter – just like the Activa. TVS will not tinker with the positioning of the scooter since it is already bringing it a lot of volumes but expect some sort of sportiness – along with a long list of features. Chances are that it may continue with the same 109.7cc motor that currently churns 5.8 kw of peak power at 7500 rpm and max torque of 8.8 Nm 5500 rpm. However, there may be tuning differences in the process. As a ritual expect new colors to freshen up the whole preposition.
While we are at it, do bear in mind that this could be some other product as well – which I have no clue on at this point.
