After the Hornet and CB300F and smaller commuters, Honda has officially launched the 2024 CB200X in India. The CB200X was labeled as an explorer by Honda and was a motorcycle that was primarily a city gadabout but could do a wee bit of soft-roading as well.
As is mandatory, the new CB200X comes with an OBD2 compliant engine. Honda hasn’t mentioned anything about its E20 fuel compatibility yet. It produces 12.70 KW (17.26 PS) of peak power at 8500 rpm and 15.9 Nm of max torque at 6000 rpm. The updated model also gets assist and slipper clutch that the street naked sibling Hornet 180 also received few weeks back.
Other features in the motorcycle include – a semi fairing that makes it look big, all LED lighting, golden colored upside down forks and a full digital instrument cluster that has five levels of brightness.

The original motorcycle was launched at Rs 1.44 Lakh in 2021 which means there hasn’t been a major upward revision in the prices, despite the addition of new features. However, Honda says this is an introductory pricing and is valid till November 2023 only.
The Honda CB200X comes in three colors – Decent Blue Metallic (new), Pearl Nightstar Black & Sports Red. Like the company’s other models, it also gets 10 year warranty – of which three years is standard and you can further extend it for another seven years.
