After teal and orange the 2023 Yamaha R3 now comes in a purple color! Yes purple! The R7, on the other hand looks brilliant!
Yamaha has updated its mid-size supersport range for the year 2023. The R3 has received a rather controversial color but the R7 looks super dashing in its new shade.
The R3 now comes in a new purple color called as Phantom Purple, which, kind of, looks weird. Who buys purple motorcycles..? It appears that Yamaha has kept the R3 its testing ground. The motorcycle keeps getting funky colors like orange, teal, etc.
On the other hand, the R7 looks swashbuckling in its new White shade (called as Intensity White). This color theme enhances the overall size and curves of the mid-sizer.
No mechanical or feature changes are reported on both the motorcycles which means that the R7 continues to be powered by the same 689cc parallel twin motor and the friendlier R3 carries on with the 321cc parallel twin engine.

Just yesterday Yamaha India teased the R7 (and the MT09) in a clip meant for our market. This, along with other hints, point at the possibility of the motorcycle coming to India soon. Will we get it in the new model year’s shade is not known yet. There are chances of the R3 getting launched in our market as well.
