2023 Xtreme 200S Spotted in Karizma-Yellow!

2023 Xtreme 200S launch planned anytime soon as a display unit has been snapped at some dealership down South with few changes..

Yellow was the color that last looked good on the Karizma as we have pictured below. Hero appears to be trying to replicate a similar story for its current full-faired Xtreme 200S. The updated 2023 model has been snapped, probably at some dealership down South – in a yellow color theme.

Apart from the new dual tone color that also gets some additional decals, the 2023 Xtreme 200S will get the following changes…

  • 4 Valve more Powerful engine – The 200S is the only model in Hero’s 200cc portfolio that is doing with the older 2V engine. With the new 2023 update, it will also come with the 4-valve engine as can be confirmed from the ‘4V’ sticker on the fairing. It will also produce higher near 19.1 PS of peak power and about 17.35 Nm of torque from the same motor that currently churns 18.08 PS and 16.45 Nm.
  • Clip-on Handlebars – The current Xtreme 200S is shod with regular rod-type handlebars whereas this upcoming model is seen with clip-ons. This may also mean a slightly different riding position for the rider.
  • Petal Discs – In place of the round discs of the current Xtreme, this 2023 version is seen sporting petals – of probably the same size. How will this impact braking remains to be seen.
  • New Mirrors – The rear view mirrors also appear to be different than the current model. This may have been done either for better view or for economies of scale.

Also expect the new model to get OBD2 compliance as well as E20 fuel compatibility.

2023 Xtreme 200S Launch

These pics are coming from some dealer display which means the motorcycle (or at least the display units) may have started reaching dealerships. The current version of the 200S is priced at Rs 1.35 Lakh and we can expect a hike of roughly about Rs 5000 for the updated model. With it, the complete 200cc line-up from Hero will transition to the much better variant of the 200cc engine. Aside this, Hero is also testing a brand new Karizma in the open, details and spy pics of which you can check here.
