Often called as the Sofa-on-Wheels, Honda has officially launched the 2023 Gold Wing in India. The motorcycle will be brought to India via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route from Japan which means it attracts over 100 percent taxation.
The epitome of touring Gold Wing churns 93 KW (126.5 PS) of peak power and whopping 170 Nm of max torque from a massive flat six-cylinder, 1833cc, 24 valve engine. It is paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). This is a nearly 400 kilo motorcycle and hence, Honda is offering creep forward and back function for convenience.
In terms of key features, the Gold Wing comes with an airbag, TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system), extended electric screen and two USB type-C sockets. It has a 7 inch TFT screen that supports Bluetooth connectivity and Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay.
The large tourer comes with four ride modes – Tour, Sport, Econ and Rain. It has a Throttle-by-wire feature among other equipment.

This is the same price as the 2022 model and the motorcycle will be sold through the BigWing Topline dealerships only which means it will be available in Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Gurgaon. Bookings have commenced and the luxury tourer can be had in the Gunmetal Black Metallic shade only.
