2023 Glamour launch anytime soon. The motorcycle is being made simpler in the new update – in a change of strategy perhaps..
Though Hero has lost quite a lot of ground in the 125cc motorcycle segment, its Glamour and Super Splendor are still very high selling models. One of our reader has tipped us about the new 2023 Glamour that is coming very soon.
The new model features different styling from the current model. There is a simpler headlamp upfront, and the tank extension also seems to be an extra add-on against the older model where it was a part of the tank design. The side and rear panels have also been slightly redesigned and come in contrast color. The seat also appears to be slightly less upswept than before. Rest of the stuff appears to be unchanged from the older model.

For some reason, the new model looks a little muted than the outgoing version – that was sportier. The plan could probably be to create wider differentiation between the Glamour Xtec and the standard Glamour with the new model. The Xtec can continue being the sportier motorcycle targeting youth whereas the standard model can now be more utilitarian than before – and target relatively simpler tastes.
The same 125cc motor will power the 2023 Glamour that churns 8 Kw of peak power and 10.6 NM of max torque. The current Glamour is priced between Rs 81,000 to Rs 85,000 and then the Xtec comes in between Rs 88,000 to Rs 92,000. Considering the simpler design, the upcoming Glamour could be priced at around a similar ballpark and there is even a chance that there may be minor drop as well.
Official launch can be expected anytime soon and Hero will be hoping to square up against the Honda Shine 125 – which is the largest selling motorcycle model in this segment.
