Official 2022 RC390 pics have emerged and they reveal the bike completely, including its coloring theme and other details…
What seems like an intentional mistake by KTM has now completely revealed the upcoming 2022 KTM RC 390 (and the overall new-gen RC styling). Recently, on its official website KTM disclosed the pictures of RC 390 and after realizing the ‘mistake’ took them down immediately.
However, it is hard to dodge the bike enthusiasts who managed to save screengrabs of the images of the new generation RC390. The sports bike will come in a new avatar consisting of Blue and orange color combinations.
The headlamp gets a major change and now uses a single LED lighting instead of twin projectors from the previous generation RC 390. Also, expect new DRLs on the front section.
The Austrian maker has probably increased the fuel tank size allowing more fuel capacity for the sports segment RC. Also, the seating design seems to have toned down a bit and looks less aggressive as compared to the current generation model.
You also get to see some changes to the side fairings. The 2022 RC390 gets a two-layered fairing. Instead of the current generation’s welded-on design the new-gen 2022 KTM RC390 uses a bolt-on-frame design.
The new-gen RC390 continues to pack the 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gear-box. The suspension for the bike sticks to the USD forks on the front and monoshock unit on the rear with an alloy swingarm.
The upgraded new-gen RC390 may feature track supporting features such as traction control, lean-angle sensitive ABS, and a two-way quick shifter. Expect TFT digital meter console with Bluetooth support.
As the pictures got leaked, this signifies that the production model of the RC390 is ready and we may see it launch in the coming weeks. Expect price increment by a few grands.
