Along with the new RC200 (launch story), KTM has also announced the official launch of the 2022 RC125 in the Indian market. This is the second generation that these full faired sports models are in.
Like the 200, the baby RC has received the same styling that is completely different from the older model. The idea, we we said, is to expand the acceptability of the motorcycle and make it more usable in daily riding.
Unlike the 200, the 2022 RC125 comes with halogen headlamp. Among key features and changes it gets adjustable handlebars, new, larger airbox, curved radiator, stiffer hollow front axle, etc.
KTM is also offering a new steel trellis frame that is lighter than before. The wheels are also lighter but high strength and weight saving has also gone onto the disc brakes.
The smallest RC also gets a windscreen which has laser texture. And then there is a new LCD instrument console.
The same 125cc, liquid cooled engine continues to do duty. It churns 15 hp of peak power and 12 Nm of max torque.

At that price, the new RC125 is costlier only by around Rs 2000. However, do factor in the insane price hikes the older model received in the last few months.
KTM is offering the baby RC in two colors – Dark Galvano and Ceramic White. Both the shades are better than the ones the 200 gets.
Bookings of the motorcycle have commenced across all KTM dealerships in India.
