2022 RC125 launch can be expected anytime soon since the company has also started teasing it on social media..
Now that KTM RC 200 and 390 have marked their entry the Austrian automaker is gearing up to launch the entry-level KTM RC125.
A type approval certification has been revealed which KTM had filed for the BS6 compliant RC125. The certification paper also mentions that the upcoming baby RC will carry over the same powertrain from the current model of the RC125.
The 2022 KTM RC125 will be powered by a single cylinder 124.71cc engine, churning out power of 14.3 BHP at 9250 RPM.

There is no mention of torque in the homologation certificate but it is expected to remain at around 12 Nm.
The new 2022 KTM RC 125 will have the following dimensions – (L x B x H) 1965 mm X 701 mm X 1150 mm. It will have a wheelbase of 1347 mm, which is a bit longer than the current model.

While the engine specs are not going through drastic changes, it is the styling that has gotten completely altered. The hooligan design of the older model has completely been ditched and in comes a more mature design.
While the current generation RC125 is retailing at around INR 1.7 Lac, expect the 2022 RC125 to be even costlier!
