2022 KTM 390 Adventure Launched in the US; India Next?

2022 390 Adventure launch can be expected within the first half of this new year. It comes with a few changes as compared to the existing model…

Last month KTM updated their most powerful single-cylinder ADV offering – the 390 Adventure – for the year 2022. And within a few days, the launch proceedings have begun with the motorcycle going to the US first. In US, KTM has priced the new 390 at $ 6,599 which is roughly 4.90 Lakh in INR.

2022 KTM 390 Adventure Updates:

The most obvious update that has been brought to the bike is the introduction of two new color options – Black with Orange accents & Orange with Blue accents, matching the color scheme recently introduced to the new generation RC models.

The other prominent change is the introduction of two new traction control modes – Street and Off-road. KTM claims these new modes will automatically adjust the degree of rear wheel slip, aiding the rider to better tackle the loose or wet terrain/tarmac.

And one subtle change is in the design of the alloys of the motorcycle. Instead of the 12-spoke arrangement of the older model, the updated variant receives a 10-spoke alloy arrangement which KTM claims increases the stiffness and resistance for the rims.

Other than these changes, the bike remains largely the same. The list of features offered remains unchanged for the ADV including LED headlight, LED taillight, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth capabilities, dual ABS, Quick shifter, among many others.
