The last we heard about an update to the YZF R15 was back in December 2019, when Yamaha launched the Bharat Stage 6 compliant model, almost four months ahead of the April 2020 deadline. Flip to March 2021 and the company appears ready for a cosmetic makeover.
In a latest update, the 2021 R15 has been leaked in a new shade of red. This is after a fair bit of time we are seeing this model in so much of red. Like most of the shades, this is a dual tone color contrasted with black over the headlamps, front mudguard, side panels and a few other areas. Chances are that there may be one or two more colors on offer in this new update.
The current R15 is offered in three colors of Racing Blue, Thunder Grey and Dark Knight and all of them are sold at different price points which were increased this month. Check the latest prices here.
A fresher R15 was introduced recently in Indonesia and we particularly liked the following silver color (which has a dash of neon green). Let’s hope we get a similar color theme in India as well some day.
