TVS’ stellar seller in the 125cc segment is its flagship scooter in India – Ntorq and the company promotes it as a sports-based offering.
The BS6 variant produces 6.9 kw (9.38 PS) of peak power at 7000 rpm and 10.5 Nm of max torque at 5500 rpm from the same 124.8 cc, 3 valve engine. In comparison, the older Ntorq produced the same power but it now peaks 500 rpm earlier; torque remains unchanged. The big change is the introduction of fuel injection in place of a carburetor for compliance.
In a latest, the maker has increased the prices of all the variants, again. This is the fourth price hike on the scooter since March 2020. Here are all the price hikes…
