2020 Ntorq BS6 specs see minor changes apart from the introduction of fuel injection for the compliance to stricter emission norms…
Ahead of its official launch announcement, TVS has updated its website with the specs and other details of its 2020 Ntorq which will come with Bharat Stage 6 compliance. The stellar seller in the 125cc segment is TVS’ flagship scooter in India and the company promotes it as a sports-based offering.
The BS6 variant produces 6.9 kw (9.38 PS) of peak power at 7000 rpm and 10.5 Nm of max torque at 5500 rpm from the same 124.8 cc, 3 valve engine. In comparison, the older Ntorq produced the same power but it now peaks 500 rpm earlier; torque remains unchanged. The big change is the introduction of fuel injection in place of a carburetor for compliance.
The prices were already revealed and here they are..
|Ntorq Drum||Rs 65,975|
|Ntorq Disc||Rs 69,975|
|Ntorq Race Edition||Rs 72,455|
*all prices ex-showroom Delhi
The price increase is not uniform across all the variants. The disc variant gets a maximum increase of 17 percent whereas the hike on other two variants is around 11-12 percent. You can check out the older prices here.
Other differences include a larger capacity 5.8 liter fuel tank (older Ntorq had a 5.0 Liter tank) and a 1.9 kilogram hike in weight (116.1 kg vs 118 kg now). There is a possibility that TVS may differentiate by offering more features on the disc brake variant.
