New Price Hike on 2020 Apache 310; Now Costlier Than BMW G310 R

Apache 310 latest price hike: The motorcycle has become costlier by Rs 20,000 effectively in the BS4 to BS6 transition.

Following the recent trend of price increment on BS6 vehicles, TVS has made its 2020 Apache RR 310 dearer. The mid sized sports motorcycle was launched earlier this year at a price tag of Rs 2,40,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The increment from BS4 to BS6 variant was roughly Rs 12,000, as the BS4 variant of the motorcycle retailed at around Rs 2,28,000. In a latest update, the Chennai based manufacturer has increased the prices of the bike by Rs 3,000. This is the second price increment after it became costlier in July this year.

The latest price hike of Rs 3000 corresponds to an increase of over 1%. However, the effective BS4 to BS6 increment is Rs 20,000, which is a hike of almost 9 percent! It has now become costlier than sibling BMW G310 R which was recently launched at 2.45 Lakh in India (with BS6 compliance).

The new Apache 310 comes equipped with a four-stroke, four-valve, 312.2 cc liquid-cooled engine that produces peak power of 34 PS at 9700 engine rpm, and 27.3 Nm of maximum torque.
