2020 Apache 180 BS6 price has also been listed at the official website. There are a fair bit of changes on the motorcycle…
So, after the rest of the Apache series, TVS is also taking the older generation Apache 180 into the Bharat Stage 6 era. The Chennai based manufacturer has updated its website with the details of the new Apache 180 BS6.
The 2020 Apache 180 produces slightly higher power output of 16.79 PS at 8500 rpm (older Apache 180 churned 16.62 PS) from the same 177.4 cc, single cylinder, oil cooled engine. It has gained fuel injection for compliance and has ditched the carburetor of the older version. The torque numbers have remained identical at 15.5 Nm but they now peak at 7000 rpm – which is 500 rpm later in the rev range.
Apache 180 now gets a slightly bigger battery and the weight has increased from 139 kilo to 141 kilo. For some reason the wheelbase of the new model is slightly shorter than before but it is now 5 mm higher in ground clearance.
