2019 Yamaha R15 continues at the same price in Indonesia as the outgoing version…
Yamaha has officially launched the 2019 R15 in Indonesia. The updated model gets fresh liveries and new decals.
Basically, the colour options have remained the same – Racing blue, Racing Yellow and Racing Black, but the colour theme on all of them has changed. The new racing blue gets inverted colours of black and blue with a big blue ‘R’ decal on the fairing (older model carried ‘R15’ sticker at this place).
The Racing black colour continues with black as the base colour with red dashes but they are more prominent now and the stickering also refreshes the looks. The biggest change has come to the Racing Yellow colour. It is now a combination of yellow and grey colour instead of the yellow and black colour of the outgoing version. This makes it look sportier than before.
Nothing else changes – it continues to be propelled by the 155.1cc liquid cooled VVA equipped 4-valve engine which can produce 19.3 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8500 rpm. The Indonesia-spec R15 is sold with premium golden coloured chunkier upside down forks which add to the overall looks of the sports motorcycle. There are no changes to the price of the 2019 model and it continues to be sold at IDR 35,760,000 on road Jakarta, which is roughly 1.75 Lakh in INR.
